Dee has worked as a counselor and dance/movement therapist in Atlanta since 1993. She writes and presents workshops on nervous system science, trauma and attachment. Her “Map” of nervous system functioning—used by all Chi for Two® coaches—is featured in The Neuroeducation Toolbox: Practical Translations of Neuroscience in Counseling and Psychotherapy edited by Miller and Beeson. She has been interviewed on polyvagal theory for many podcasts including The Thoughtful Counselor. Her current passion is polyvagal-informed training for helping professionals.

​Dee has presented body-based therapy workshops for The American Dance Therapy Association, Expressive Therapies Summit, and for the Korean Society of Dance/Movement Psychotherapy. Her articles appear in American Journal of Dance Therapy; Body, Movement and Dance in Psychotherapy; Voices: The Art and Science of Psychotherapy (American Academy of Psychotherapists); Counseling Today, Elephant Journal; and Asana International Yoga Journal.

Caroline Gebhardt

Caroline Gebhardt, is a licensed professional counselor, registered yoga teacher, Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator with ISMETA, and a Certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach. Caroline specializes in disordered eating, exercise and body-image as well as trauma-informed parenting for individuals and families. She practices from an attachment-based, trauma-sensitive and polyvagal-informed approach at Harbor of Dreams Art. In addition to co-developing Chi for Two®, Caroline created M-Bodied: Mindful Movement as Mothering Medicine® which focuses on the early relational Chi for Two practices for deep nourishment from the inside-out.

 Caroline completed her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Georgia State University and internship at the Atlanta Center for Eating Disorders/Walden. She enjoys presenting body-based continuing education workshops and trainings and regularly offers somatic healing groups and workshops for clients. As a movement educator for 20+ years, and as a mother to three lively children, Caroline is inspired daily by the body's innate wisdom and the gift of healthy relationships.

 Caroline offers psychotherapy in the state of Georgia, USA, as well as embodiment coaching and somatic movement therapy/education worldwide.

Fred Shelton

Fred Shelton is an Embodiment Coach based in the Atlanta, GA area. He offers nervous-system coaching; helping people with, “things that get on your nerves”. He has studied the experience of human interaction for many years within the corporate arena and offers individuals, couples, families and businesses an opportunity to see themselves and each other in a new light.

Cassandra Pryor

Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach

Cassandra Pryor, MS, has a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Mercer University. She interned at Ridgeview Institute, working with teenagers aged 12 to 17 in the in-patient stabilization and partial hospitalization programs, focusing primarily on dialectical behavior therapy. With Dee Wagner as her mentor, she has explored trauma training for over 10 years and is a Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach. She is also a new mother, which is helping her appreciate infant development and attachment in a new way. All this experience has motivated Cassandra to help others learn about the importance of self care, providing space for oneself to feel into the challenges of this chaotic world, as well as the difficulties we face when the systems in place that are meant to support us fall short.

Carly Sackellares

Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach

Carly is a social worker with a certificate in marriage and family therapy. She is involved in her second-year Chi for Two embodiment coach training. Carly completed her Master’s in Social work at the University of Georgia and internship at the UGA ASPIRE Clinic, providing holistic counseling services for individuals in the Athens area and its surrounding communities. 

Carly’s upcoming workshops are inspired by the book Naked Online: A DoZen Ways to Grow from Internet Dating, authored and designed by Dee Wagner, John Cargile, and Kathy Jernigan. Having found personal success engaging with the book, Carly is passionate about guiding others towards a more mindful, Zen-like state while immersed in the wild world of online dating. Her specialty is providing coaching to those embarked on their own journey towards self-love in the digital dating space.

Kristin Smith

Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach

Kristin practices somatic therapy and embodiment coaching to help clients experience safety in their bodies and their relationships. She uses a body-mind approach to promote presence and focus.

Kristin received her MSW from Florida State University in 2015. She has worked in community mental health, with the Emory Behavioral Immunology Program, and with the Emory Transplant Center.

Learning about Chi for Two has enabled her to trust her own rhythm along her life journey. She is passionate about helping people individually and collectively learn ways to embody themselves so they can be with each present moment and live more fulfilling lives.

Kristin offers somatic therapy in person and online in Georgia only. She offers embodiment coaching in Roswell and Stone Mountain, GA and online worldwide.

Mukti Jarvis

Mukti Jarvis specialises in the energetic dance of healthy relationships. She is a registered Somatic Movement Educator, Therapist and Embodiment Coach of Chi for Two, an ISMETA (The International Somatic Education and Therapy Association) approved training program. Mukti is also a certified Emotionally Focused Therapist for couples and individuals, and a certified Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Educator and Mediator.

Mukti studied with, and offers training alongside the originator of Chi For Two, Dee Wagner and did so with the late founder of CNVC, Dr. Marshall Rosenberg. Since 2002 Mukti has been one of the founding NVC educators in Australia. She was trained and supervised by Dr. Jenny Fitzgerald, Australia’s first Emotionally Focused Therapy trainer and is now mentored by Dee Wagner the developer of Chi For Two. 

  • She has an extensive history in both corporate and private sector business, in HR and General Management. All through her professional life, human connection, emotional honesty, dignity and wellbeing have been the priority. She has delivered programs for global and local businesses, school communities, tertiary health education, and franchise organizations. 

Mukti is a lifelong student and her inclusive private practice is for all those in intimate relationships or wanting to be (including mindful online dating coaching). Mukti offers Chi for Two embodiment coaching with people locally and across the globe, online in Zoom. 

Ateeka Contee

Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach

Ateeka Contee is a Couple’s relationship therapist, licensed to practice in Maryland and Florida. Ateeka was born and raised in India where she developed her passion for yoga/Ayurveda. She founded White Lotus Wellness Center and was professor of Yoga Studies within University of Maryland’s Kinesiology department.  Ateeka fused her previously earned master’s in business, her lifelong yogic devotion, and her 2nd master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to provide professional counseling services, integrating a holistic approach which emphasizes the connection of mind, body, and spirit.  

Ateeka works in communities of color with a collaborative approach addressing multi-generational trauma.  Ateeka is a featured writer for Counseling Today magazine where she speaks to the absence of cultural competencies in the mental health industry. 

In 2021, Ateeka trained in Nature Therapy and was quickly accepted as a faculty member, attending to issues of diversity and inclusion. Chi for Two and Nature Therapy align naturally because both help us awaken and process the systemic trauma that developed as cultures got out of connection with Mother Earth.

Trecia is a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to empowering individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including interpersonal and multigenerational trauma. Drawing on her personal experiences, formal education, and extensive training, Trecia collaborates with clients to help them achieve their therapy goals. Her mission as both a therapist and embodiment coach is to assist clients in overcoming challenges, healing, and living their fullest lives. She focuses on identifying the roots of trauma and teaching new coping tools that create healthier neural pathways for a more successful and fulfilling life. 

Trecia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Theology and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. She has also served as a mental health counselor in correctional facilities, gaining valuable insights into the complexities of mental illness. 

As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Trecia partners with clients on their healing journeys, looking beyond surface issues to facilitate genuine transformation. Mary Lou is a licensed body-worker of 29 years, a licensed aesthetician and a performing artist. She is a co-developer of Chi For Two and co-creator and facilitator of two Chi-for-Two informed courses:

Nick is a long-time advertising creative, some-time competitive athlete, part-time musician and full-time father of three boys. As a Certified Chi for Two Embodiment Coach, he offers a mix of life coaching, creative business coaching, parent coaching and wellness coaching, helping people move energy within their bodies in ways that ultimately improve their lives. With a history in business and sports, Nick has a useful understanding of playful competition in the creative process. Nick has a deep curiosity about the use of mind-altering substances and their role in mindfulness—a unique perspective of how to go from busy-ness to embodiment.

He shows people how to take better care of themselves through movement by focusing on relationships, because relationships affect our nervous system functioning. On occasion Nick and his wife—fellow embodiment coach Caroline Gebhardt—team up to co-lead Chi for Two coaching sessions for romantic partners and parents through their business M-Bodied® Mindful Movement as Mothering Medicine. And yes, they also team up to co-lead the raising of their children...24 hours a day.

Chelsea Szegidewicz,

Certified Sound Healing Facilitator, Certified Chi For Two Embodiment Coach

Chelsea Szegidewicz (Sheg-ee-dev-ich) is a certified Sound Healing Facilitator, and certified Chi For Two Embodiment Coach with a degree in Guitar Performance from the Atlanta Institute of Music.

Chelsea asks, “What is your relationship to play?,” and helps people to find their sense of self through vocal expression, sound healing instruments, music, and somatic practices.

Chelsea has led groups of over 100 people in sound healing journeys and has over 4 years of experience in working with couples and individuals. Chelsea has collaborated with schools, spiritual centers, yoga studios, festivals, and is currently facilitating out of Harbor of Dream Art in Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA.

In addition to helping others heal, Chelsea is a recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and works in creating music for film, tv, and radio. You can find Chelsea performing with her guitar at local festivals, restaurants, and hotels in the Greater Atlanta Area.

Ingrid Jennifer Lacey, is a licensed professional counselor, board-certified dance movement therapist, certified Laban movement specialist & educator, certified professional clinical supervisor, and a Certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach. Ingrid specializes in trauma, anxiety and mood disorders with adults. She enjoys integrating elements of expressive arts, Chi for Two, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Celtic spirituality with clients, students and clinical supervisees.

Ingrid completed her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, after teaching dance and performing professionally in England and the Republic of Ireland. She has a passion for languages and travel, and is in awe of how culture enlivens the energetic dance of therapeutic relationship.
